As 2nd Generation Americans, we grew up with immigrant grandparents demanding we speak English; and hard-working moms and dads who could really cook. We were close, and we were mostly poor, so everything had to be “on special” before we put it in our grocery cart. All that said, our food was Great! We learned early, if you want to eat, you’d better learn how to cook. And so we did. I learned how to cut up a whole chicken watching my dad make Chicken Mole.
My Video Blog is dedicated to those who love to eat. Don’t really know how to cook but are sick to death of drive-through. The recipes are easy. If you can read you can cook, I tell my daughter. She disagrees. So now, I say, if you can watch YouTube, you can cook. The food is from me, my Sis and all my cousins. Even the ones who don’t cook or don’t like to cook, have one good recipe in them. I’m going to get them on digital and share them with you.
