Wanting Ice Water

“There’s people in hell who want ice water.”

That quote is from the book and movie, “The Man With The Golden Arm”, written by Nelson Algren.  It’s a great movie, starring Frank Sinatra and Kim Novack. An even better book. I’ve heard the phrase a lot during my career. Usually from a nasty boss who was cutting costs to save corporate more money.
