It’s Saturday night and I’m just writing the post about having a good weekend; and do something for You!
Why?
Because I was doing something for me.
Here are my suggestions.
Breathe Deeply
Breathe. I would share links and documention but there is no need. We all need to breathe more and breathe better.
All week when I was watching the Senate Confirmaion hearings I found myself holding my breath; worried about the next insult that was going to be slung at the brilliant Ketanji Brown Jackson.
So relax everybody and breathe.
One defination of Breathe. Be alive! Remain Living.
Eat a Salad
I’ve been dieting since Ash Wednesday; I gave up bad-carbs for Lent. No bread, tortillas, potatoes.; Just proteins and veggies. I’ve eaten a lot of salads.
Have one on me. They are great!
Read a Book
Reading anything is always a good idea. If you don’t want to tackle anything heavy, read a children’s book.
It helps if you have a little one to read to; but it’s not necessary.
I’m suggesting “The Carousel King and the Space Mission,” for many reasons. Not just because I know the author, but because her books give children hope. It teaches children to believe in themselves.
I love hope.
Visit An Art Gallery-Online
Artist Polly LaPorte is a special, gifted woman, and I’ve linked to her website. Wow! I love her work. Not only is she a gifted artist she is a wonderful caring person!
Check her out. Support Artists. They lift us up!
Videos
I’ve included two videos in this post. One, with my granddaughter and our misadventures at the hardware store. And another from my grandson’s birthday lunch, way before my diet; and probably one of the reasons I NEED to diet.
Have a great rest of the weekend.
Relax. And feel free to do all these things all week long.
