What Happened Before the Jan. 6 Insurrection

Date

Have you ever been afraid to tell your boss the truth? I have. What did you do? Did you tell a Lie?”

The people inside the White House on Election Night 2020, including President Trump’s daughter and his closest staff members, were faced with telling the President something he didn’t want to hear.

And so began the horrible post-election weeks filled with lies, lawsuits, firings, threats, hundreds of e-mails asking for donations, millions of dollars, and finally, the brutal Insurrection.

Once again, the Jan. 6 Committee Hearing was fascinating and packed with Trump Insider Testimony and revelations.

Day Two was as good as Day One.

Maybe better.

Was it interesting that Republican White House Staff testified that Rudy Giuliani was staggering drunk on Election Night?

Was it shocking that the Former Attorney General of the United States Bill Barr called claims that the election was stolen, “Bullshit!”

Yes, and Yes!

But the best and worst part of the Hearing was when Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, a Democratic from California, outlined the so-called  “Trump Marketing Plan” that resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in donations from “Big Lie” supporters.

And how Trump and his cronies, including his Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, used that money for everything BUT election fraud investigations.

I say best because Congress has proof this happened. I say worst because it is sickening that Americans were cheated out of their hard-earned money by liars and cheats.

I am appalled that the big lie resulted in the Insurrection.

I am horrified that some  Americans still believe the election was stolen.

I am sad and angry that the President of the United States is a thief.

Please watch the hearings, talk about them, and vote!
