How to Vote on Prop 31? What does your Yes or No Vote mean?
California’s Prop. 31 asks voters if they support the sale of Flavored Tobacco products.
But it is a poorly written, and it a tricky one.
Prop. 31 is a referendum on a 2020 law that Prohibits the Sale of Flavored Tobacco Products.
That is the key factor when casting a Yes or No Vote.
A YES Vote means you support that law. You do not want flavored tobacco sold.
NO means you don’t like the law. Vote no if you want to buy flavored tobacco.
Supporters of the Referendum, who want you to vote YES on Prop. 31, which bans candy-flavored cigarettes say that 80% of kids who’ve used tobacco started with a flavored tobacco product.
Opponents of the Referendum who want you to vote NO, say 31 is Prohibition.
