My Favorite Lincoln Quote:

“I leave you, hoping that the lamp of liberty will burn in your bosoms until there shall no longer be a doubt that all men (and women) are created free and equal.

February, and All the President’s Birthday’s

This month we celebrate four Presidential Birthdays. Ok, I’m half wrong. Some of us remember three presidents, and most of us celebrate two.

Many only really care because we get a three-day weekend for President’s Day, which honors Washington and Lincoln.

Here’s the list

George Washington (February 22, 1732),

William Henry Harrison (February 9, 1773),

Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809),

and Ronald Reagan (February 6, 1911).

President Washington

We remember George because he was the first, and he was extraordinary for many reasons.

My Favorite President

We remember Lincoln for many good and honorable reasons.

Lincoln freed three million slaves, yes, but he also had great strength and character; he wrote so many beautiful words and held us together.

We needed him, just like we need President Joe Biden now.

And that is why we need to remember our Presidents and history in general.

If we know what we’ve had, like Lincoln, Washington, Roosevelt, we understand how evil the Trump Administration and others were.

Please take some time to remember. And vote. And please help someone who needs help vote.

President Ronald Reagan's Birthday is on February 6th.
