President Biden made a surprise visit to Ukraine on Monday, Feb. 20, 2023.
This visit also happened to be Presidents’ Day in most of America.
What a man, what a president. This was just a great surprise.
First of all, as I said, it was a holiday in California, Presidents Day holiday.
Second of all, we’ve got two presidents meeting in a country. That has been at war for one year.
Ukraine and its people are struggling, and they need our help and the help of democratic countries worldwide.
Our President, Joe Biden, has helped build a coalition of governments to support Ukraine.
So why is it important? Why should we watch these two leaders? Why should we listen? Why should we care?
Ukraine is fighting for its freedom, for its independence. They are fighting a dictator who wants to control more than Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to expand his power.
And the Maga Republicans question why we should the United States, are spending money to help Ukraine.
And my answer is. World War Two. Hitler. We should have stopped Hitler long before he began murdering innocent people. But we did not do it. So, it is important now to learn from history. And to take steps to ensure that never happens again.
Ukraine is geographically and strategically important to the safety and protection of a free Europe.
We’ve got to stop the bullies.
Today Tuesday, Biden spoke in Poland and gave a speech. And talked about the atrocities that Vladimir Putin has committed in Ukraine.
And I say now as a communicator and as a political reporter. It’s essential to watch what’s going on in the world. It’s important to see what’s going on in the world. It is vital to know that our President is taking steps. To fight for democracy, not only in the United States of America, which? Democracy is. In trouble in the United States of America, but worldwide.
And so, once again. I fully support this president. He is a great president. And I am so happy. To watch the stories, to watch the videos. And to see President Biden speaking up for what’s right and what’s just in the world.
I am Gloria Moraga. I’m a political woman. I vote. Please vote. And follow me.
