The 2022 Election Results – The California Proposition’s
California had seven Propositions on the November 8, 2022, Ballot. Even though millions of dollars were spent trying to convince voters why there were or weren’t needed, only three got final approval.
Here are the results.
Proposition 1: The Right to Reproductive Freedom – Passed
Proposition 1 is a Constitutional Amendment that confirms a woman’s right to an abortion. It amends the state’s constitution by adding language that would “prohibit the state from denying or interfering with an individual’s reproductive freedom.”

Proposition 27: Online Sports Gambling – Failed

PROPOSITION 28: Funding for Arts and Music in Schools – Passed

Proposition 29: Dialysis Clinic Requirements – Failed
Yes 30.1%
NO 69.9%
Proposition 30: Zero Emission Tax Incentive – Failed
It was close, but it failed. This measure proposed Taxing those who make more than 2 million a year to help pay for electric cars and to hire and train firefighters.

Prop. 31: Prohibits The sale of Flavored Tobacco – Passed
